These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Day Zero mobile application ("the App") operated by Day Zero ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Day Zero, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
Day Zero is a wellness and lifestyle tracking application that helps users monitor their alcohol-free journey. Features include streak tracking, health metric monitoring, craving intervention tools, daily check-ins, and progress photo tracking. The App is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
To use Day Zero, you must create an account using an email address, Apple Sign In, or Google Sign In. You are responsible for:
Day Zero is available through auto-renewing subscription plans:
Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings (Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions; Android: Play Store > Subscriptions).
Free Trial: If a free trial is offered, the unused portion of any free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies.

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including check-in notes, progress photos, and craving logs. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and display this content back to you within the App. We do not claim ownership of your content and will not use it for any purpose other than providing the service to you.
The metrics, insights, and information provided by the App are for informational and motivational purposes only. We make no guarantees about health outcomes from using the App.
All content, features, functionality, design, code, and trademarks of Day Zero are owned by Day Zero and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App without our prior written consent.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Day Zero, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the service or other users. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings screen within the App. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
